Someday I'm gonna miss this!

Right now I just want to enjoy it!

-Lazy days
-Laundry
-Lunch with two cute ladies

Happy Mother's Day!

This mother's day was good. Colin made me a bracelet, and Maddie gave me a cute card. Jared didn't have meetings in the morning, so our Sunday morning ran smoothly. After a nap, we had dinner with Jared's sister, and watched both the Jazz game and the Player's championship. It was a nice relaxing day.

Maddie and I planting seeds.

My present from Jared was organization in the garage. We bought a sport's rack to organize all the kids' toys, and a shelves to organize our tools, etc. I'll have to post a before and after of the garage organization when its finally completed.

Colin's Ballroom Dance

So I'm going to try and put the video of Colin's dance on the blog. I don't have sound on my computer, so I'm not sure if it will work right. He and Allie are the 2nd from the left. I couldn't figure out how to zoom on my camera when it's in video mode, so you can't see there faces. The white costumes kindof take over too. I wish you could see his face, though. He was so cute with his big grin the whole time! Also there is a lot of black in the beginning, because they didn't start right away. Happy viewing!

Such a cute little boy!

Colin had his first ballroom dance recital. He was so fun to watch! He had a nervous grin on his face the entire time, but he really had a lot of fun. I'm glad his cousin Allie was his partner, because she kept him in line, and they were too cute together. As you can probably tell, they danced to the Flinstone's song.

It's a Boy!

Yes, we're having a boy! I had an ultrasound on Monday, and the doctor confirmed my guess. Considering I hadn't thrown up this pregnancy, I have been telling Jared and the kids all along it would be a boy. Jared needed the proof, and I really did too. Now I can clean out my storage and separate blue from pink!

Naptime Anyone?

Colin was frustrated with his homework, so I sent him to his room to cool off, mainly because I needed to cool off. I found him 10 minutes later like this. Who says 7 year olds don't need a nap every so often? Now if I could only get Maddie to take one. The funny thing is, he's had this blanket and pillowcase since he was 3. I probably have pictures of him sleeping then. The only thing that has changed is the size of his noggin!

7 Random Things about Me

I was tagged by Dacia, and since I only read about 4 blogs, I won't tag anyone else. I'm supposed to share 7 weird/random facts about myself, so here goes:

1. I blow my nose every morning. Whether I have a cold/allergies or not. It's a habit I got from my dad I guess. He's a frequent nose blower also. We always joke that my dad will have to teach our kids his nose blowing skills. I guess that's better than my Gr. Lybbert. He taught all the grandkids his belching skills. My nose blowing was actually a sore subject with my college roommates. They wanted me to buy extra toilet paper, because they thought I used more than my fair share.

2. My feet have grown with each pregnancy. I was a 7 1/2 when I left home. My mom and I could share shoes, and I always complained that she'd stretch them out. Now I laugh because Jared just ordered me some new Nikes and I got a 9. Sad, but I guess it means I get new shoes!

3. I've discovered that my acne is directly linked to milk consumption. With each pregnancy I have terrible acne. After I had Kate, it didn't go away, so I researched and found that Dairy farmers give their cows extra hormones to increase milk production, and these extra hormones end up in milk, subsequently ending up in my skin and causing breakouts. No more late night bowls of cereal for me!

4. I like to stare at people. Jared hates to take me to sporting events because I spend the whole time people watching rather than watching the game. It drives him crazy.

5. I hate to lose things. It consumes my thoughts and actions until I find the thing that is lost. We're missing a sippy cup right now, and I'm tempted to go search the stake center because I think we left it there after stake conference. Seriously, it's a 2$ sippy cup, ridiculous, I know.

6. The smell of toothpaste makes me sick. Only during pregnancy, but 9 months of gagging every time I brush gets old.

7. I guess the sex of my babies by the amount of time I have spent throwing up in the 1st trimester. With Colin I didn't throw up. With both the girls I threw up every morning, and with Kate it was into the afternoon. My un-educated guess this time is that I'm having a boy. We'll see on Monday! I'll keep you posted.
